Hello, I'm currently working in UTC. UTC is a leader in HVAC industry, providing solutions for the air quality, comfort, and energy consumption inside buildings. ( heat pump, chiller, air handling unit, rooftop)
Strategic sourcing for Raw material commodities & subcontracting (copper, aluminum, steel & stainless, sheet metal, heat exchangers).
- Make or buy: shutdown and outsourcing the non-strategic activities (stamping / sheet metal working / flame cutting). A project successfully completed according to target cost, and a tight planning.
- “Quick Wins projects” related to synergies after the acquisition of CIAT by UTC brought a 4% saving in 6 months.
- Promoting collaborative relationships with suppliers in order to create value : cost reduction projects, redesign, switch technology, thickness reduction, - Global sourcing with analysis of risks/opportunities per country, leading to qualification of new suppliers in Asia.
