Présentation de Michel
Hi folks! I've had multiple jobs in multiple companies and when I look at my career, it fills me with satisfaction. I was Software Engineer, Project Manager, Incident manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Solutions Manager (aka Solutions Engineering Manager). I worked for small companies and big companies (Betomorrow, Microsoft, Criteo). And lately, I focused on self-development and self-awareness. I help people to discover their potential and reach it. What do I do in my daily business? As a TS manager, I : 1. Build and share the vision with my teams I gather the inputs from the global strategy and from the people experiencing the job in the field. With that, I build the mission statement, define success and show the path to success (processes, tools, metrics and KPI, etc) 2. Manage the staff I work closely with the HR team to serve from 2 different angles: teams and individuals. I put efforts in the recruitment to onboard the best talents in the team. And I work on the motivation and the retention of the people in the team. 3. Collaborate with the Business partners With a scope mixed between technical operations and business relationships, I work with both internal and external clients. I organize the team to provide the best service as possible (defined by the mission statement) I graduated in 2004 from the Institut Universitaire et Technologique de Strasbourg. I started as a Software Development Engineer and quickly, I switched to a Project manager role to Incident manager to Engineering manager to TS manager. I think it gave me a good transversal view of the software landscape. I'd be happy to tell you about these jobs, what it takes to be successful in these. I'll tell you about my successes but also about my failures. Experience goes both ways and it's a great opportunity to learn. I'll help you to find your own way and if there's a match, even point you to the opportunities we have in our company! - Michel
