Hi, I work for Roland Berger, a strategy consulting firm. My job is to help my clients (senior executives: c-levels, investors, senior officials) make relevant and fact-based decisions. As strategy consultants, we cover various types of topics : investment decision (incl. M&A), business strategy, operations, implementation support, impact analysis, opportunities identifications... We also cover a broad range of industries (pharma, automotive, energy, consumer goods, public sector, transportation...). So, this job requires to be very curious and eager to dive into new topics frequently. I have gradually specialized and now work mostly for public sector clients. I had the chance to work for several ministries in France and also for the Ministry of Energy of a Gulf country. On a day to day basis, my job consists in understanding the problems my clients are facing, in breaking them down in simpler problems and then to provide my client with simple answers and actionable levers. It requires to conduct interviews with experts, to conduct desk research (press, business communication...), to crunch data sets, to build mathematical models (excel) and finally to present the findings on convincing slides. After three years of Classes Préparatoires, I graduated from emlyon business school in 2018. During my studies, I did two internships (project management for a French public agency in India and cash controlling for large industry group) before joining Roland Berger.
