Présentation d'Enes

Hello,

PhD in Chemical Biology with 1 year of postdoctoral research experience in biocatalysis. Expertise in the development of drug candidates and small molecules, with good knowledge of bioconjugation and biocatalysis techniques. Proven ability to plan, manage, and assess lab experiments, consistently delivering innovative solutions. Collaborative scientist skilled in mentoring junior researchers. Excellent communication in French, English, and Turkish.

My days in the lab begin with the initiation of carefully selected enzymatic reactions. I ensure that the experimental conditions are optimal by meticulously controlling temperature, pH, and reagent concentrations. Once the reactions are complete, I proceed to thoroughly analyze the resulting metabolomic profile. Using sophisticated analytical techniques, like UPLC-HRMS, I determine the identity and quantity of metabolites present, providing me with valuable insights into the underlying metabolic processes.

I hold a professional baccalaureate in process chemistry, followed by a BTS and a bachelor's degree in chemistry. I earned a master's degree in chemistry of biomolecules in Montpellier, culminating in a doctorate in chemical biology from Strasbourg. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at Orsay, where my research has elucidated the biosynthetic pathway of a natural product through enzymatic reactions.

In my previous role, I spearheaded a project to elucidate the biosynthetic pathway of tricepyridinium, a recently discovered molecule with promising antimicrobial properties. This involved delving into 'underground metabolism,' a complex and poorly understood area. Through meticulous analysis and a data-driven approach, I successfully unraveled the intricate steps involved in tricepyridinium production. This not only advanced our understanding of this fascinating molecule but also established a valuable approach for future investigations into the biosynthesis of other natural products

Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about my work.
